Eddie Austin's Radio Atlantis memories.

Eddie Austin was heard on Radio Atlantis for a few weeks in spring 1974. In 2020 he contacted The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame from his home in Malaysia. Eddie sent us a couple of photos of himself, hard at work painting the ship, plus a studio recording from his very first show on the station.

click to hear audio Eddie's first show on Radio Atlantis was in the early hours of 18th March 1974 when he took over an hour of the Yawn Into Dawn programme. This studio recording is of him finishing that hour and handing over to Steve England. There is more audio from the show on this page (duration 3 minutes 55 seconds)
