While John was on board, a lifeboat was called out to take off a crew-member
suspected of having appendicitis. He took these photos.

Left to right: unknown, Kenny and Cash, a Marconi transmitter engineer name unknown, John himself, John's mate Roy Sheeran, Wally Hemmings a Cummins generator engineer, unknown but believed to be one of the original engineers who had sailed over with the ship from America.
