Alan ‘Neddy’ Turner first worked on Radio Caroline's mv Fredericia when the ship was anchored off Suffolk in 1964. He was there when the station merged with Radio Atlanta and he joined Jerry Leighton and Tom Lodge on the voyage round the coast to the Isle of Man, where the ship broadcast as Radio Caroline North. Our grateful thanks to Alan for allowing us to publish these fantastic photos from the very earliest days of British offshore radio. |

In the early days of the station, an engineer played in the discs for the DJs. This photo shows engineer Bob Hart with Tom Lodge in the studio. |
