The City Sixty, 12th - 19th February 1966

As before, the original document only lists the song titles or the artists, not both. We have attempted to fill in the gaps but, in some cases, have had to make an educated guess about which track is being referred to. If you spot any mistakes, please get in touch.

* It appears that two tracks tied at number 3, meaning there were 61 tracks on the City Sixty this week.

** Although shown as a new entry on the original document, this track was actually on the chart at no. 53 last week.

*** Can anyone remember whose version of “Love Makes The World Go Round” was played on Radio City?

Our thanks to Brian Long.

The Big L ‘Fab 40’ for this week can be found on the Radio London website. Radio Caroline South returned to the air on low power from the borrowed mv Cheeta II on 12th February, following the grounding of their ship on Frinton beach. The site has a partial (unbroadcast) ‘Caroline Countdown’ for the week.

The links from the songs on this page lead to the Amazon MP3 Store where you can hear short audio clips of the tracks and customers in the UK can buy downloads. Please see this note.

There are a number of other offshore charts listed on The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame. Full details here.

Next week's City Sixty is here.
