22nd December 1972.

Radio Northsea's International Service came to an abrupt end on 24th October 1972. The evening shows were replaced by Dutch programmes. However, after only a few days, on 3rd November, the English language service was reinstated.

Before this interruption the International Service used the Prediction Hit 40 chart. Now it had a Top 30. The station continued with this for the next year.

Some of the details of this chart were obtained from a recording provided by Hans Knot, supplemented and confirmed with information from radiopedia.nl with grateful thanks to both.

The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame has put together a Spotify playlist of this chart. You can find it here. Unfortunately not all the songs are available on Spotify but almost all of them are and we hope it brings back good memories.
