Disc-jockey Erin Kelly has written a novel based on her time working on the offshore radio station Laser-558.
One of the original three Laserettes, Erin was on board from mid-February until the end of August 1985, an exciting time for the audience and for those working on the ship. As Laser attracted millions of listeners, the DJs had to
battle with the North Sea weather, the difficulties of operating outside the law and the government of the day trying to starve them off the air.
Called Stealing the Airwaves, this thrilling tale will come complete with its own playlist!
Erin has designed three possible covers for the book. She would like your help in deciding which to use. Please take a look at them, below, and then email us with your favourite.
We will let you know which gets picked, and the publication date of the book, when it is known. Thank you for your help.
The voting so far: At the time of writing, 59% have preferred cover 3, 30% picked cover 1 and 11% liked cover 2. If you haven't done it yet, there is still time for you to let us know your favourite.
