On 9th September 2017 a stone was unveiled in Felixstowe to commemorate Radio Caroline. The station's ship was anchored off the coast of the town when it first started broadcasting in 1964. The event was put on by the Felixstowe Society and the Felixstowe & Offshore Radio group. Brian Nichols (BN), one of the organisers, and John Sales (JS) have very kindly shared some of their photos of the day with The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame. |
