Swinging Radio England Fun 50, 5th November 1966

An almost complete chart was kindly provided by Kees Brinkerink. He compiled it by listening to various recordings of shows broadcast by Swinging Radio England during this week in 1966 and with the help of his friend Hans Evers who made a note of some chart placings at the time. There were a few gaps which we have now been able to fill with the help of a chart from Hans Blaauwbroek via Mary Payne (see note here). With thanks to them all.

Radio England expert Svenn Martinsen tells us it was broadcast on Saturday November 5th from 8am to 12 noon. This was the station's final Fun 50. SRE closed down the following weekend.

* For the previous few weeks, Radio England had been playing “This Is My House (But Nobody Calls)” by The Moody Blues. This week they appear to have flipped the record over.
