At the end of December 1972 a ‘mutiny’ took place on board Radio Caroline over the non-payment of the crew's wages (see Caroline In The Seventies). In the early hours of 30th December Captain van der Kamp arranged for the mv Mi Amigo to be brought into land where the ship was impounded.
