About Radio Caroline.

A promotional booklet, published 1964.

This booklet, About Radio Caroline, was written and published in 1964 when the station was still operating from a single ship anchored off Felixstowe.

In July that year a deal was struck with the rival Radio Atlanta and the two stations combined operations. The original Caroline ship sailed round the coast to the Isle of Man and became Caroline North. Atlanta changed to Caroline South.

This publication shares some content with the booklet produced for the Caroline Club (see here) which came out shortly after the merger and another one published in 1965 (see over the page).

The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame is very grateful to Colin Nicol for providing the scans on this page.
