Willy Walker's Radio London photo album

Click on the photo to see a full-size version.

Willy had two stints on Radio London, in 1966 and 1967. He has very kindly contributed these photographs from his personal album. If you think they look familiar, that's because they are also available on the Radio London website. Willy is keen for them to reach as many Big L fans as possible.

RIGHT: Willy with some of his 1966 colleagues, (left to right) John Edward, Tony Blackburn, Willy and Tony Windsor.

LEFT: (left to right) Paul Kaye, Ed Stewart, engineer Russ Tollerfield, Mark Roman and Mike Lennox.
RIGHT: Same people, different order.

LEFT: Willy with Mark Roman (left).
RIGHT: Tony Windsor and Paul Kaye (possibly) on board the tender.

LEFT: Willy with Tony Blackburn.
RIGHT: Meeting the fans with engineer Dave Hawkins. This particular fan, Lesley Benjamin, now Lesley Blavins, has been in touch with The Pirate Radio Hall Of Fame. She tells us that the photographer was Tony Brandon.

LEFT: Jason Biggs, a fashion photographer, Duncan Johnson, Mike Lennox and some friends outside De Hems pub in swinging London.

RIGHT: It is a bit dificult to make out but it is Mike Lennox and Duncan Johnson.

Many thanks to Willy for sharing his pictures and to Duncan Johnson for his help with identification.
