In 1966 some scenes for an episode of the television series Danger Man were filmed on board Radio 390's fort. The story involved John Drake, played by Patrick McGoohan, joining a pirate station called “Radio Jolly Roger” to investigate a spy ring. These are publicity stills released by the production company ITC at the time of the programme's screening.
