The City Sixty, 26th November - 3rd December 1965

As before, the original document only lists the song titles and does not give the artists' names. We have attempted to fill in the gaps but, in some cases, have had to make an educated guess about which track is being referred to. If you spot any errors, please get in touch.

Last week's City Sixty was dated to run Saturday to Saturday but this one returns to the previous arrangement and starts on a Friday. After last week's massive clear-out, with more than a third of the tracks changing, this week we have a relatively modest eleven new entries. Strangely four of last week's new entries have dropped back off the chart after only one week of airplay. One that was dropped last week, The Four Pennies, returns.

* Incorrect last week positions listed on the original document.

** The same track, “I've Got Mine”, is listed at both number 37 and 39 but we can tell from next week's chart that number 37 should actually be The Kinks' “Till The End Of The Day”.

*** Can anyone remember which version of “You Can't Buy My Love” was played on Radio City? Originally recorded by Barbara Lynn, there was a cover version by Marian Angel.

**** The tracks on the “No Living Without Loving” EP were: There's No Living Without Your Loving, Let's Go Get Stoned, Tired Of Trying, Bored With Lying, Scared Of Dying and I Put A Spell On You. All are available here.

Our thanks to Brian Long.
