Radio Northsea returned to the air in February 1971. Their programmes now featured considerably more Dutch records than they had the previous year, and - from the following month - there were Dutch programmes too. This is the first of their Super Hit 50 charts. Most of the details were obtained from two recorded segments of the Super Hit 50 show of 21st February 1971. The rest came from Vincent Schriel of radiopedia.nl. Our thanks to him. |

* ‘Holland’ was made up of members of a number of different Dutch bands. Tony Allan, in this show, refers to them as “a supergroup”. There is more information on www.discogs.com. |
Part of this chart was obtained from a recording shared on The Offshore Radio Club Forum by Hans Hendriks. Some came from a tape in The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame's own archive.Tony ending the first ‘Super Hit 50’ show on Radio Northsea International (duration 2 minutes 25 seconds)The links from the songs on this page lead to the Amazon MP3 Store where you can hear short audio clips of the tracks and customers in the UK can buy downloads.
