In 1967 the Marine Offences Act made the operation of offshore radio stations illegal in Britain and Radio Caroline moved its centre of operations to Amsterdam. When the Dutch radio expert Hans Knot visited Caroline's new offices at Singel 160, he was given a contact sheet of some DJ photos that had been taken the previous year. He has kindly offered to share them with The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame. The original pictures were very small so Hans has enlarged them. This has made them easier to see but slightly grainy. |
