A Beat Fleet Commission Certificate

Many offshore disc-jockeys of the sixties used to have their own fan clubs. Radio Caroline South's “Admiral” Robbie Dale had one called The Beat Fleet.

Below you can see a letter sent to people enquiring about joining the organisation, from The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame's own archive, and a certicate of commission kindly provided by correspondent Bill Eatwell. It belongs to his wife Anne who, as you can see, was a Lieutenant in the Fleet. The sticker and biography are courtesy of Ken of the DX Archive. Many thanks to all the contributors.
