The City Sixty, 26th December 1965 - 2nd January 1966

As before, the original document only lists the song titles, not the artists. We have attempted to fill in the gaps but, in some cases, have had to make an educated guess about which track is being referred to. If you spot any errors, please get in touch.

The previous chart was due to remain in force until 24th December but this one is dated to start from the 26th.

* Incorrect figure given for last week's position.

** The Patti La Belle track is listed twice. In fact we can tell from next week's chart that it was actually at number 29 and that number 37 is “Hey Little Girl”.

*** Last week there were two versions of “Come Away Melinda” on the chart, by Barry St.John and Wendy Huber. This week there is only one. As the Barry St.John version was the hit, we assume that it was the one still being played.

**** Although “Heide”, a re-entry, is listed here, next week's chart suggests there may have been a last-minute change of mind as “Music Talk” by Beryl Marsden is listed with a “last week” position of no.60.

Our thanks to Brian Long.
