Lee Gilbert and a visitor to the fort. Many thanks to Paul de Haan and Paul Graham for pointing out that the guest is a young Robin Adcroft, later to become an offshore engineer and broadcaster himself.

on the tender
A group of Radio 390 staff on the tender including Dougie, the handyman, and his wife Kay, librarian Peter Berkeley and, front centre, Christopher Clark and David Sinclair. A very similar black and white photo of the same people, probably taken at the same time, was issued by the Free Radio Association. See the bottom of this page. Robin Adcroft also made it into this photo (far left).
