The first Radio Day - Zeezenders 20

The Dutch Radio Day, celebrating offshore broadcasters, has become an annual institution. The first, known as Zeezenders 20, was held in Noordwijkerhout in July 1978. It was organised by Music Radio Promotions (the people behind Flashback '67 in London the previous year) with Hans and Jelle Knot, Ton van Draanen, Marc Jacobs and Frans Schuurbiers. These photos of the event are from Rob Olthof's archive and have been kindly passed to us by Hans Knot.
