As mentioned on the previous page, Bob was involved with the 1970 election campaign, when RNI changed its name to Radio Caroline International and former Caroline boss Ronan O'Rahilly got involved. He writes: “I spent more than a few hours leading up to the 1970 General Election distributing handbills in town centres. I seem to recall it was Hays Mews in Mayfair that I picked them up from - a very busy apartment with Ronan O'Rahilly and (Northsea Managing Director) Urs Emmenegger coordinating their distribution and helping the Free Radio Association with the forthcoming London rally against the jamming of RNI.”

(There are photos of the rally here.)
